BII: The Maze is a dance theatre production that has transformed an empty shop on Ilford High Street into an immersive maze experience. It will be open between 16th Jan - 11th Feb with workshops during the week and live immersive performances during the weekend.
Presented by dance company Instigate Unknown, and created by Cherilyn Albert (Artistic Director of IU) and the company members, among whom are Leah and Marta (Back2basix).
Weave through partitioned rooms, in an empty shop unit, decorated to resemble a home. Inside you will find performers waiting, bouncing, cleaning and procrastinating. Step into a familiar world where everyone is stuck inside, some doing a lot and others not doing much.
Allow your imagination to be stimulated by this journey where everyday objects are used in creative ways and are part of the ensemble as much as the dancers.
